Boat navigation with glacier and icebergs viewing on rigid inflatable boats from Puerto F. P. Moreno through the Canal de los Témpanos to the North Face of the glacier.
0:30 - 1:45 hs
Disembarkation and a 3 km trek along the northern shore of the Perito Moreno Glacier.
1:45 - 2:00 hs
Arrival at the Glacier Dome. Technical gear fitting (crampons, helmet, and gloves) and safety briefing.
2:00 - 4:15 hs
Start of the Ice Trek. Guided walk on the glacier, exploring crevasses and ice formations on a safe and controlled route.
4:15 - 5:45 hs
Exit from the glacier, return of glacier-travel gear, and walk back to the boarding point.
5:45 hs
Final return navigation.
6:00 hs
Arrival at Puerto F.P. Moreno.

Cara Norte Ice Trek is an expedition designed to take you to the very soul of the
Perito Moreno Glacier. It is an ice trekking experience guided by expertise forged
over more than 30 years in Patagonia, with the safety and respect this natural
monument deserves.

Boarding and Privileged Navigation:
The adrenaline is already in the air at Puerto F.P. Moreno. You board one of our
rigid inflatable boats, designed for minimal interaction with the environment.
The navigation through the Canal de los Témpanos is the perfect prelude,
opening the way toward the imposing North Face.
Our boats ensure a respectful approach, preparing you
for total immersion.
Disembarkation and the Path of Adventure:
We disembark on the North shore to begin a trek that prepares us
for what lies ahead. Our guides, true masters of the mountain,
will share their stories and knowledge, while the glacier views
become increasingly spectacular.
Each trail has been explored and designed to minimize our impact,
ensuring the purity of the landscape.
The GLACIER Dome:
We reach our Dome, which blends harmoniously with the landscape.
Here, our experts will equip you with certified technical gear
and provide the final “briefing.”
This is the moment of truth, the preparation to walk on the ice.
Ice Trek:
Here we go! You step onto the glacier. Under the watchful eye of our guides,
you will venture into a labyrinth of blues, exploring crevasses and seracs.
This walk on the ice is a controlled and safe experience,
designed for you to feel the immensity without risk.
Each route is carefully traced so as not to alter the pristine
structure of the glacier, because we are explorers, not intruders.
Farewell to the Ice:
We leave the glacier, but the feeling of having walked upon it will remain
forever. We return to the Dome to remove our gear and then
begin the walk back along the moraine to the boarding point.
Return Navigation and Disembarkation at Puerto F.P. Moreno:
Final navigation, with the imposing glacier as the backdrop.
